Bigg Boss Winners So Far

Bigg Boss is an Indian reality series, probably the most popular one. It is based on the concept of Big Brother developed by John de Mol in Netherlands.

Celebrities are kept isolated from the world, without phones, laptops and even pens or papers, the resources are also very limited, it is then that the real test of these stars begins. The audience who can watch anything for entertainment has absolutely loved the concept, which is clear with the increasing excitement for the latest show which will again be hosted by Salman Khan.

Here we have listed the winners of the previous seasons of Bigg Boss, have a look.

8. Gautam Gulati

The eight season began in 2014 which eventually turned into Bigg Boss Halla Bol, the final five contestants of the show competed with five ex-contestants. This spin off continued as a regular show which was hosted by Farah Khan as Salman got busy with his shooting schedule of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Gautam Gulati was the winner and Karishma Tanna was the first runner up while Pritam Singh was at the third place.

 

7.  Gauhar Khan

The model and actress won the seventh season where she openly accepted her relationship with  co-contestant Kushal Tandon. Tanisha Mukherjee and Ajaz Khan were the first and second runner-ups respectively. This was also hosted by Salman Khan and had a tag line ‘Jannat Ka Wow Aur Jahannam Ka Aaw Dekhenge Sath Sath’ which was also loved by the viewers.

 

6. Urvashi Dholakia

The famous Indian TV serial actress won the sixth season of Bigg Boss. Salman Khan returned as the host of the show which was launched as a ‘Parivarik’ show with a Gujarati tagline ‘alag che’! Imam Siddiqui was the first runner up while Sana Khan stood at the third place.

 

5. Juhi Parmar

The fifth season of Bigg Boss was aired in 2011 and ran for 98 days. Salman Khan hosted the opening with Sanjay Dutt who later took over as the permanent host. The soap actress Juhi Parmar emerged as the winner with actress Mahek Chahal as the first runner up. Siddharth Bhardwaj, winner of MTV Splitsvilla was the second runner up of the show.

 

4. Shweta Tiwari

The fourth season began in 2010 and Bhaijaan hosted it, increasing the popularity and viewership like never before. The show lasted for 96 days and Shweta Tiwari was the winner. The Great Khali was first runner-up while actor Ashmit Patel was at the third place.

 

3. Vindu Dara Singh

The third season was aired in October 2009 and Amitabh Bachchan was the host. The show lasted for 84 days and son of the late wrestler and actor Dara Singh, Vindu won the title where model Pravesh Rana and actress Poonam Dhillon were declared as the first and second runner up respectively.

 

2. Ashutosh Kaushik

The winner of MTV Roadies season 5 became the winner of Bigg Boss season 2 which began in 2008. Shilpa Shetty hosted the show who was herself a part of the original Big Brother where she became a victim of racial comments by Jade Goody, who was also a contestant in this season of Bigg Boss. Raja Choudhary was the first runner-up and model Zulfi Syed was at the third place.

 

1. Rahul Roy

The first season of Bigg Boss was aired in 2006 and lasted for 86 days. Arshad Warsi was the host for the show which got instant popularity. Other contestants included famous Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan, who was the second runner-up, model Carol Gracias, who was the first runner up.
